Wood Products from Vietnam, built for US programmes.
Formwork panels, primed trim, solid panels, engineered flooring, cabinet-grade plywood and machined components — specified in inches, quoted against the sheet you already buy, and shipped with the documentation your broker and your compliance team will ask for.
Six lines US importers buy out of Vietnam
Each line says what it is used for and exactly what we need in order to quote it. Bring the specification you already run — we work backwards from that.
Formwork plywood
Phenolic film · MDO · HDO
Hardwood-core panels for concrete forming in 4' × 8' and 1250 × 2500 mm (49-3/16" × 98-7/16"), 9–21 mm (3/8"–13/16") thick. MDO and HDO resin-impregnated overlays for painted architectural work and high-cycle forming — very few Vietnamese mills run overlay lines at all.
Used for
Concrete forming · signage · painted panels · scaffolding decks
To quote, send us
Overlay type and weight, panel construction, size, thickness
Technical dataPrimed moulding & millwork
Finger-joint pine · MDF
Interior trim primed at the factory and ready for topcoat on site, in lengths from 7' 10" up to 17' 9". Profiles are tooled to your drawing rather than picked from a catalogue — finger-joint pine or MDF depending on where the trim has to live.
Used for
Baseboard · casing · crown · door jamb · panel mould
To quote, send us
Profile drawing or a sample piece, length, primer spec, annual volume
Technical dataFinger-joint & edge-glued panels
Solid wood panels
Kiln-dried acacia or rubberwood, finger-jointed and edge-glued: 15–38 mm (9/16"–1-1/2") thick, widths to 1300 mm (51-3/16") and lengths to 6 m (19' 8"), in AC and BC face grades. The stable alternative to solid boards for anything that has to stay flat and carry a visible finish.
Used for
Shelving · stair treads and risers · worktops · furniture parts
To quote, send us
Species, panel size, thickness, face grade, moisture target, finish
Technical dataEngineered flooring
Multi-layer construction
A hardwood wear layer over a dimensionally stable engineered core — the construction most US residential programmes now specify, because it holds up across heating seasons far better than solid strip.
Used for
Residential · light commercial · multi-family fit-out
To quote, send us
Wear-layer thickness, species, plank width and length, finish, click or T&G
Technical dataKitchen cabinet components
Boxes · shelves · drawer parts
Cabinet parts machined, edged and packed ready for your assembly line — carcase panels, shelves, drawer sides and bottoms, cut and bored to your system. You tell us the material you want them built from; we build to your cut list rather than selling you sheets to cut yourself.
Used for
Cabinet boxes · closet systems · RTA kitchen programmes
To quote, send us

Cut-to-size · CNC
Cut-to-size, CNC routing, drilling, edge work and sanding, packed and labelled the way your programme needs it. Send the drawing and the tolerance you actually hold to, not the one printed on the old sheet.
Used for
RTA furniture · fixtures · OEM parts · sub-assemblies

Most Vietnamese mills offer phenolic film only. We run all three, so the choice can be driven by your application rather than by what a supplier happens to have.
Phenolic film
The volume workhorse
Dynea phenolic film in black or brown, 140 / 165 / 185 / 220 gsm. Smooth release, low absorption, the standard choice where cost per pour matters most. Anti-slip wire mesh available for deck and platform use.
MDO — medium density overlay
When the panel gets painted
Resin-impregnated paper bonded to the face. MDO takes paint exceptionally well and holds a uniform finish, which is why it is the usual pick for signage, architectural panels and painted formwork rather than raw film.
HDO — high density overlay
For high-cycle forming
A harder, denser overlay with higher resin content than MDO. It resists abrasion and alkali attack from wet concrete, so it holds its surface across more pours where the same panel is used again and again.

Certificates are issued to the producing mill and to specific product families. We send the documents that cover the goods in your order, not a generic bundle.
Send what you buy today. We quote the same thing.
Construction, species, glue, thickness, size, finish — and whatever your programme actually measures you on. A like-for-like comparison is the only one worth making, and if what you already have is the better value, we will say so.
Questions US buyers ask
Which of these lines can you quote this week?+
All six. What differs is lead time and minimum, not availability — formwork plywood and primed moulding run continuously, while flooring, solid panels and machined components are made to order against your drawing. Send the specification and we come back with price, a realistic minimum and a lead time, rather than a range that means nothing.
Is the plywood CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI certified?+
Yes. Certificate CARB/EPA 21023 (ICTT Corporation, TPC-43) covers HWPW-VC hardwood plywood 2–21 mm (1/16"–13/16") thick, 3 to 13 plies, valid to 25 May 2027. It is issued to the producing mill, so we send the certificate that covers the panels in your order rather than a generic copy. If a line you want is not covered by an existing certificate, we tell you before you order, not after.
What is the difference between MDO, HDO and phenolic film?+
Phenolic film is a thin plastic-like film hot-pressed onto the panel. MDO and HDO are resin-impregnated papers bonded to the face — MDO with less resin, HDO with more. MDO is chosen when the panel will be painted, because paint bonds to it far better than to film. HDO is chosen for repeated concrete forming, because the denser surface resists abrasion and alkali better. Film remains the lowest cost per sheet.
Finger-joint pine or MDF for primed trim?+
MDF gives the better painted surface: no grain raise, no knots telegraphing through after a season, no resin bleed, and crisp detail on ornate profiles that pine rounds off. But MDF swelling is permanent, so it belongs in dry interior rooms only. Choose finger-joint pine for bathrooms, thresholds, anything that may get wet, and anything stained rather than painted. We would rather tell you this before the order than after the first claim.
How do I compare your quote with what I buy today?+
Send the specification sheet of what you buy now — construction, species, glue, thickness, size, finish, and for formwork the number of pours you get from a panel. We quote against that same specification so the comparison is like for like, and we will say plainly if what you already have is the better value for your application.
What volume do you need to start?+
One 20ft or 40ft container per line for a first order. You can mix specifications within a line — several thicknesses, or several profiles, in the same load — because those come off the same machine. Tell us the volume you are working with and we will tell you honestly whether it works, rather than quoting an LCL price you will regret.
